At the toddler stage, your little one is going to want to do many things on their own or want to help with many things. For the dangerous ones like lighting the fireplace or cutting onions, you don't let him do and some good explanation would rememdy a fit. But as far as opening doors, putting on clothes, inserting the straw into the chocolate milk box, helping with the laundry, pretending to help with the dishes, etc......TRY not to get caught up with getting angry just because the simple task time is extended sometimes ten fold. With so little time in the day, I think most of us have been there and will continue to be there every now and again. But try to keep in mind that there is a little mind that needs to experience and learn.
